About Liz - Web designer
Hello there! I'm Liz Clement and I have produced this website for Heather.
Although I have worked for several years as a graphic designer at the University of Cumbria, I am quite new to designing for the Web. After 3 years part-time study, I have recently graduated with a Master of Science in Multimedia Computing at the University of Central Lancashire in Preston. This has widened my skills considerably and I am now trying to put these new skills into practice.
I have tried to design the website to meet Heather's specification - to be professional looking, user friendly and easy to maintain! To meet these requirements I have created the design and layout you see and have applied a content management system which allows for easy updating and maintenance by the editor.
I work (part-time) in the Technical Services Unit at the University of Cumbria, Ambleside Campus, where I am part of a team supporting academic staff and students in their teaching and learning.
